The
Government of Kenya, in its endeavor to improve service delivery in the public
service, adopted Performance Contracting as its flagship tool for Performance Management.
Performance
Contracting is expected to accelerate the achievement of Government Priorities
as stipulated in the Kenya Vision 2030 and Bottom- up Economic Transformation
Agenda (BETA).
The
work of this office at Bondo Teachers’ College is to coordinate the
identification of performance indicators, sub-indicators/targets and develop a
draft PC document in line with the priorities of the College and Performance
Contracting Guidelines.
The
PC Coordinator is also responsible for providing mandatory documents to support
the development of the PC document.
The
coordinator compiles relevant required evidence in response to reported
achievements. The core mandate of Bondo Teachers’ College is to produce
quality, professional Pre-Primary and Primary Education Diploma teachers to
meet the national and regional demands. This is congruent with the college
vision: A centre of excellence in
teacher education and holistic training.
In
the 2024/2025 Financial Year alone, Bondo Teachers College has committed to
undertake several projects geared towards improving academic standards,
housing, forest cover, ICT infrastructure, digitization of services, food
security, financial management, service delivery, water and sanitation.
