(a) Class attendance: (i) Students must punctually attend all lectures, tutorials, and seminars asspecified by the College programme, unless permission granted otherwise. (ii) Active participation in lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practicals in laboratories, workshops, or studios will contribute to the assessment of a student’s progress in course work as a whole. (iii) A student who fails to meet 85% of term's lectures in a given learning area will be considered to have failed to meet the minimum requirements of the course. Such a student will either repeat or be discontinued. (b) Progress in studies Students are expected to follow course work as laid down in the curriculum designs and should show progress in their academic and professional disciplines. (c) Official names Students’ official names remain in the same order as contained in the academic certificate presented on admission. (d) Use of college library Students shall adhere to library rules and regulations as stipulated in the library code of conduct.
