(a) Personal appearance and dress (i) Students are expected to keep clean and neat all the time. (ii) Students are expected to dress decently for various specific College activities e.g. games, and formal occasions. (b) Students’ Bounds (i) The following quarters within the College are out of bounds to all students unless by invitation or prior arrangements with the officer in charge: a) Kitchen or boiler room b) Staff-room or senior common room. 10 c) Book stores and other stores. d) ICT and science laboratories. e) Workshops and studios. f) Assessment room. (ii)All staff quarters are strictly out of bounds to students. (c) Assemblies and other official Gathering (i) Attendance at all scheduled college assemblies and any other official gathering is compulsory. (ii) All gatherings by students shall be done with prior knowledge of the administration. (d) Obscene literature Obscene literature within the college is prohibited. (e) Personal Security (i) Students are advised to carry their College Identity Cards all the time. Itshould be produced on demand. (ii) Students on leave-out are required to be in the College not later than 6.00 p.m. on return. (iii) All students should be in their halls of residence by 11.00 p.m. unless permission is granted otherwise. (iv) Any stranger viewed with suspicion should be reported to the security officer immediately. (v) Students are expected to familiarize and adhere to safety precautions or security measures as set out by the various departments. (vi) Quarrels and fighting are strictly forbidden. (vii) Possession or carrying of any offensive weapons within the College is prohibited. (viii) The College reserves the right to declare certain places out of bounds to students for security reasons. (f) Drugs and substance abuse Possession, consumption or conveyance of any psychotropic substances is prohibited. (g) College stationery and correspondence (i) Official Correspondence with other institutions and organizations must be through the principal. (ii) College letter-head and branded envelopes can only be used for official correspondence. (iii) Students shall collect registered letters and parcels to college at prescribed times from the authorities concerned. (h) Corruption eradication The institution shall not accept any corrupt practices.
