(a) Leave of absence (i) A Student who wishes to be exempted from scheduled college activity must obtain permission from the relevant head of department. (ii) A Student returning from leave of absence must report to the lecturer on duty before 6.00pm. 11 (b) Catering Services: (i) Meals are served on the cafeteria basis and all students must observe cafeteria rules especially of respecting the queue. (ii) Meals will be served only during specified times unless prior arrangements had been made with the cateress in cases of excursions, trips or any other activity. (iii) No special diet will be provided unless otherwise specified. (iv) Students are not allowed to bring into the Dining Hall any food from outside the college compound. (c) Accommodation. (i) The Dean of Students shall be responsible for allocation of students to halls of residence. (ii) Male students are not allowed into female accommodation facilities and equally female students are not allowed into male accommodation facilities. (iii) Each student will be responsible for keeping his or her own cubicle clean. (iv) Cooking or boiling water in the hostels is prohibited. (v) Use of audio devices shall be limited to non-disturbance to hostel members. (vi) College keys, which may be given to students, must be returned to the officer in charge before the students leave for holidays, or at the end of the course and at any other time the student is going away from the college. (d) Visitors to College (i) Visitors are not allowed in the students’ accommodation facilities. (ii) No visitors will be allowed to have meals in the college dining hall unless prior arrangements had been made with the College authority. (e) Freedom of Worship: (i) The College respects the rights of its students to worship according to their conscience. (ii) Accordingly religious services can be arranged with the college authority so long as they don’t interfere with scheduled college programmes or other members of the college community. (f) Personal Health: (i) Any feeling of illness or accidents must be reported to the College Dispensary immediately. (ii) Students who require medical treatment outside the college must seek permission from college authority. (g) Use of College Transport Students shall adhere to the times of departure, number of passengers allowed, the itinerary, stops on the way etc. as directed by the officer in charge. (h) Security of personal Belonging (i) Each student will be responsible for his/her belongings and any college propertyentrusted to him/her. (ii) Students are advised to take personal responsibility for the safety of their finances. (iii) Any case of theft or damage to property should be reported to college authorityimmediately. (i) Pregnancy Cases: Expectant students shall be responsible for their safety and health.
